St Teilo’s is a Parish Church in the Diocese of Swansea and Brecon, Church in Wales;

a Province of the worldwide Anglican Communion.

As the Parish Church, it strives to be a sign and symbol of God’s love for each and every person who lives in our neighbourhood. Here, week by week, we gather as God’s people to ensure that the constant rhythm of worship and prayer is maintained; that the Body of Christ is built up through the celebration of Word and Sacrament; and, in the power of the Holy Spirit, the Good News of God’s love is proclaimed. St Teilo’s is an inclusive church welcoming all in the Name of Jesus the Redeemer.

Prayers are offered for all who live in the neighbourhood and beyond. In our Prayers of Intercession, we remember those who are suffering and in pain; those who are struggling in any way; those who are striving to get their lives together whatever the crisis; those who are mourning; and for those who have died.

Prayer requests can be sent via email and the request will be placed on our Prayer Tree and remembered in our Prayers of Intercession.

Church Refurbishment

These are exciting days for St Teilo’s and the Penplas Family Centre. Our church building is closed at present as it undergoes a major refurbishment and extension so as to house the Family Centre and become an important community hub. Work is due to complete in early May when we will have a wonderful re-opening, showcasing all the great facilities that will be available.

At present, Church Services take place in the Vicarage.
